Emma Swarbrick
Project Lead Part II

Emma recently finished her Part II at the University of Westminster, having completed her undergraduate degree at the Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL, graduating with a First Class Honours degree.

Prior to joining Jo Cowen, Emma was part of the design team at Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners, working on the British Museum World Conservation and Exhibition Centre in London and the Macallan Distillery in Scotland. At Rogers, she also helped to plan and deliver a creative schools workshop for GCSE students; an initiative to encourage hard to reach students to consider careers in architecture and design.

Whilst at University, Emma worked on a diverse range of projects — from a Dementia Day Care Centre in London to a high density residential scheme in Shenzhen, China. She has also undertaken projects for private clients, including modelling and concept design work for Patisserie Les Amis which recently opened in Hong Kong, and work on a private family home in Cape Flats, South Africa.
