Laura Rudokaite
Architectural Assistant Part II

 

Laura has recently graduated from the Glasgow School of Art with a Diploma in Architecture. Her final design thesis was based in Zurich, Switzerland and focused on the use of scientific wine making as a vehicle to showcase the benefits of genetic engineering for the wider agricultural industry in a future scenario of a growing population. The project was awarded the Glasgow Institute of Architects (GIA) Parchment Prize. Laura was also featured alongside her thesis in the Blueprint Magazine 'Graduates to Watch' 2016 edition.

Laura completed her Part I degree at the Kent School of Architecture in Canterbury, where she was awarded the Best Undergraduate Portfolio Prize. She went onto a two years placement at Proctor and Matthews Architects, where she worked on the award-winning residential development Abode at Great Kneighton in Cambridge.

Laura speaks fluent Lithuanian and Russian.
