Adam Roberts, Architect ARB

Adam joined Jo Cowen Architects having coordinated planning applications for large and complex public-sector regeneration schemes across London with Karakusevic Carson Architects, a practice renowned for delivering exemplary social housing.

His enthusiasm for placemaking and inclusive regeneration began while working with the London Legacy Development Corporation Design Team, where he helped to secure the future of the Olympic Park as a new neighbourhood and cultural destination.

He has also helped to enable a community-led affordable housing initiative in Lewisham and set up an NGO in Romania, building the capacity of local communities to steer future developments and planning policy in Bucharest.

While studying architecture at the Royal College of Art, Adam won a four month scholarship to study traditional Japanese housing and carpentry at Kyoto City University of the Arts.
