Blanca de la Serna Sáenz
Project Architect Blanca de la Serna has a real aptitude for technical design and engineering. Earlier in her career, Blanca worked in Madrid where she managed and supervised the construction of a private family house of her own design.
Blanca joined Jo Cowen Architects in 2016 and has since gained valuable experience working on projects ranging from residential refurbishments to large scale mixed-use schemes. Her combined interest in both design and technical detailing inspires her to seek the most out of each project she is involved in. Currently, she has completed the conversion of an existing house into two self-contained flats in Fulham and, separately, she is working on the conversion and new development of five flats and four mews houses in Wimbledon and a number of residential refurbishment projects in Fulham.
Blanca completed her Master in Architecture at the Technical University of Madrid, ETSAM. Besides a great passion for architecture, Blanca is very passionate about arts and design. She speaks fluent Spanish and French.
