Jon Iriondo Goena
Jon, born in San Sebastian, graduated as a Master in Architecture in 2014 in ETSAB school in Barcelona. His final thesis was the study of the refurbishment of Battersea Power Station; focusing on the historic and cultural aspects of the monument that could enhance urban life in different scales. He is most interested in how architecture and its separate pieces form a perceived city, and how these cities affect its users.
Since graduating, he worked in Acme Architects, focusing in urban restoration and recovery of broken urban fabrics such as Chester Northgate and Swansea Central.
Jon joined Jo Cowen Architects in September 2017 and he has been working on a diverse range of scales in residential projects, both domestic and larger residential developments. He has contributed in multiple stages, from planning to construction detailing.
