Jose Lillo Aleman, Project Architect ARB
 

Jose joined Jo Cowen from Tonkin Liu Architects where he gained wide architectural experience — from urban concept design to construction detailing. At Tonkin he worked on a diverse range of projects including the redesign of Banus Al Saadiyat Marina in UEA, the Musgrave Park Hospital Landscape, and Ness Point, a spectacular clifftop house near Dover.

Prior to Tonkin, Jose worked at GIPC, a landscaping research group based at ETSAM (Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura) in Madrid, studying the energy landscape in Spain.

Originally from Spain, Jose completed both his undergraduate Bachelor of Architecture and Masters in Architecture at ETSAM, Universidad Politécnica de Madrid where he was awarded Distinction for his final thesis project. A talented illustrator and designer, Jose is also the founder of KrKink Illustration. He speaks fluent Spanish and basic French and German.
