Sophie completed her undergraduate and postgraduate degrees at the Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL, where her final thesis project proposed a new masterplan for the city of Marseille, France. The proposal looked to create a new legal quarter adjacent to the historic city centre, dedicated to the implementation of international internet law, and was awarded amongst the highest marks for design that year.
Before joining the practice, Sophie helped to deliver a new nursery, primary and secondary schools in London and Northampton whilst working at Architecture Initiative as a Part I Architectural Assistant.
Since joining the team at Jo Cowen Architects in September 2016, Sophie has worked on a range of projects of varying scale, from residential refurbishment to commercial housing developments. Most notably she is part of the team dedicated to the delivery of The View, Battersea project.
Sophie is currently studying to achieve her Part III qualifications at the University of Westminster.
